摘要
We obtained R-band photometry of 433 Eros at the Table Mountain 0.6-m telescope during its 1998 apparition. Our five nights of photometry yields a rotational period P-sid = 5.27048 +/- 0.00064 h and visual geometric albedo for 433 Eros of 0.27(-0.06)(+0.03), high, but within the range of S-type asteroids, Utilizing lightcurve data from the 1974/1975 apparition we solved for rotational pole position (RA = 00:46.9, DEC = +19:30.5; J2000) and axial ratios of 1.0:0.388:0.375, which are both significantly different from previously derived values.
