Electrodeposited ruthenium oxide (RuO2) films for electrochemical supercapacitors

摘要
Electrodeposited ruthenium oxides films for elecrochemical supercapacitors were investigated using X-ray diffraction technique. Ruthenium oxide thin films was prepared by using techniques like reactive sputtering, organomettalic chemical vapor deposition and electrodeposition. Cathodic electrodeposition of ruthenium oxide thin films were carried out on to titanium substrates from an aquous ruthenium chloride solution. The result shows a high specific capacitance which was comparable with the values of other methods of ruthenium oxide film preparation .
