摘要：

Effects of Astragali Radix, the root of Astragalus membrauaceus Bunge, were investigated on oxidative stress such as lipid peroxidation and protein oxidative modification by copper. The results showed that these effects are similar to those of mannitol and superoxide dismutase as a free radical scavenger. It was demonstrated that Astragali Radix have inhibitory effects on oxidative stress induced by copper. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ireland Ltd. All rights reserved.
