摘要：

A 37-year-old woman presented with left lower quadrant pain and vaginal spotting I month after hysterectomy and right sulpingo-oophorectomy, which were performed for hemoperitoneum related to a ruptured corpus luteum, An 8-cm left ovarian mass was removed that had a microcystic, mucoid sectioned surface. Histological examination revealed that the mass consisted of a massive foreign-hody gratinlomatous reaction to oxidized cellulose (Surgicel(TM)). To our know ledge, this is only the second report of an ovarian Surgicel(TM) granuloma.
