摘要
New R12Ni6Sn compounds (R=Y. Pr. Nd. Sm. Gd and Tb) were synthesised. Their crystallographic structure was shown to belong to the cubic Sm12Ni6In structure type (space group 1m (3) over bar), Bulk magnetic properties were measured between 2 and 300K. and in field Lip to 10T. With Y it can be shown that Ni gives rise to a small induced itinerant magnetism. The compounds with magnetic rare earths exhibit similar magnetic behaviours which probably result from rather complex magnetic structures mainly antiferromagnetic. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
