Five-power-law creep in single phase metals and alloys

摘要
The term `creep' refers to the plasticity of materials likely to arise from the observation at modest and constant stress, at or even below the macroscopic yield stress of the metal at a conventional strain rate. The subject of creep is reviewed in the concept of diffusional creep, superplasticity, low temperature creep, and particularly, five-power-law creep. Five-power-law creep is indicated by the `dislocation creep' regime bounded by diffusional creep and `dislocation glide' at lower temperatures and high stress.
