Direct detection feedback for preserving quantum coherence in an open cavity

摘要
It is shown that the Yurke-Stoler coherent state of field in an open cavity preserves its nonclassical structure if the outgoing radiation is measured by a photodetector and the photocurrent is used for phase modulation of the intracavity field.
