摘要
This work addresses the critical strains for the onset of jerky flow along a stress-strain curve in constant imposed strain rate. The hypothesis tested is that the initial dislocation density governs the critical strain behavior. For this purpose, the influence of prestrains performed in different conditions is discussed in simple terms.
