摘要:
The intentional design to the 2.5 nm scale based on a concept for the design of nanoscopic structures via film thickness control was demonstrated. We fabricated sandwich-type cells incorporating organic vertical superlattices by using a microtome and proved that structural design below the 10 nm scale is necessary in order to realize solid-state organic solar cells. The present technique can be applied to the fabrication of novel optoelectronic devices with designed nanostructures that are composed of any kind of material. (c) 2006 American Institute of Physics.
