摘要
In the TACTICS-TIMI 18 trial, in 137 patients with single-vessel disease who underwent intervention, 224 patients with multivessel disease who underwent culprit vessel intervention, and 66 patients with multivessel disease who underwent multivessel intervention, the incidence of death, myocardial infarction, or rehospitalization for unstable angina at 6 months was 17.5%, 23.2%, and 21.2%, respectively (p = 0.44). Subsequent nonculprit vessel intervention was lower in the patients who underwent multivessel intervention (1.5%, 6.3%, and 1.5%, respectively; p = 0.04). Thus, multivessel intervention is safe and effective in patients with multivessel disease who have acute coronary syndromes.
