摘要
The deposition of Pt particles on reduction sites of patterned-TiO 2/SnO2 and its effects on the photocatalytic activity were investigated. It was observed from three-dimensional imaging surface structure of the sample that strips of TiO2 films ca.60nm in thickness and 1 mm in width were formed in a 1 mm pitch on SnO2 film coated glass. It was also observed that Pt particles were formed on the SnO2 underlayer by two-step electrodeposition where the initial period for nucleation and the succesive period for growth were separated. It was observed that the deposition of Pt particles at the reduction sites increased the photocatylytic activity of patterned-TiO2/SnO2 photocatalysts.
