摘要
Hydrothermal synthesis of zeolite beta with an aluminum content as high as 8 atoms per unit cell has been performed in sodium-tetraethylammonium systems. Low alkalinity is required to avoid the formation of denser phases. Sodium cations are needed for charge balance beyond 6 Al/unit cell. The concentration of lattice defects in the solids richest in aluminum provides information about the templating effect of tetraethylammonium in this system. (C) Elsevier Science Inc. 1997.
