An investigation of the resistivity dip in amorphous M(x)Ge(1-x) (M=Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni) alloys

摘要
The resistivity rho of amorphous metallic M(x)Ge(1-x) (M=Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni) alloys has been investigated for 2K less than or equal to T less than or equal to 300K. The anomalous decrease in rho, previously extensively studied in amorphous FexGe1-x alloys prepared using the same sputtering technique, is also observed in the CrxGe1-x and CoxGe1-x alloys, but not in the amorphous MnxGe1-x and NixGe1-x alloys. The observed behaviour in the present measurements is compared to the observations in the measurements on the previously prepared FexGe1-x alloys.
