Triadic Hopf-static structures in two-dimensional optical pattern formation

摘要
We describe a type of dissipative structure namely, triadic Hopf-static patterns, which are in fact drifting spots in a rhombic or rhomboidal arrangement. They are generated by a resonant interaction between simultaneously unstable Hopf and static modest. We analyze triadic Hopf-static patterns in a nonlinear optical system consisting of a thin layer of two-level material and a feedback mirror with explicit inclusion of delay effects.
