摘要
Fault diagnosis of Discrete Event Systems has become an active research area in recent years. The research activity in this area is driven by the needs of many different application domains such as manufacturing, process control, control systems, transportation, communication networks, software engineering, and others. The aim of this paper is to review the state-of the art of methods and techniques for fault diagnosis of Discrete Event Systems based on models that include faulty behaviour. Theoretical and practical issues related to model description tools, diagnosis processing structure, sensor selection, fault representation and inference are discussed. (C) 2013 Elsevier Ltd.
