New aziridine sulfide ligands for palladium-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation

摘要
Aziridine sulfides, a new type of chiral S,N-ligand, have been easily synthesized in a straightforward synthetic route, from an inexpensive and easily available chiral pool. They were used in the Pd-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylation of 1,3-diphenyl-2-properyl acetate with dimethymalonate anion, furnishing the alkylated product in excellent yields and stereoselectivity up to 99%.
