摘要
The microwave post-treatment for reducing the amount of copper released from copper-ethanolamine (Cu-EA) pressure-treated southern pine wood cubes was investigated. It was suggested that the temperature increase during microwave post-treatment is the 'positive factor' facilitating copper fixation. Moisture reduction in microwave was suggested to act as a limiting factor which restrains copper fixation. The reduction of the amount of copper leached was found to be due to the acceleration of the copper and wood reactions which require energy and moisture for such interactions.
