Quasiuniform magnetization state in soft ferromagnetic nanocylinders

摘要
A simple analytical ansatz for the quasiuniform "leaf" magnetization state in a thin circular nanocylinder made of soft magnetic material is presented. It is shown that the energy of this state is always lower than the energy of the state with uniform magnetization in the same cylinder. A simple analytical series expansion for the leaf energy is built. Finally, the correction (due to the nonuniformity of the magnetization distribution in the leaf) to the classical result of Joseph for the transition between in-plane and out-of-plane magnetization states in circular cylinder is obtained. It is expressed by a simple formula for the cylinder aspect ratio, corresponding to the transition.
