摘要
Over the past two decades, many researchers have been interested in "taming" the reactive free radical intermediate and utilizing it in enantioselective transformations. This review highlights the substantial progress made in this area of synthetic organic chemistry. The main classes of radical reactions that have received the most attention include atom transfer, conjugate addition, addition and trapping, and electron transfer reactions. Also, the possibility of establishing multiple stereocenters in one simple transformation makes enantioselective free radical chemistry a very attractive tool for organic chemists.
