摘要：

This article reviews the state of development and various problems that occur in the determination of organometallic compounds using hyphenated methods of analysis. These problems hamper the dissemination of existing procedures in practical environmental analysis. Methods are discussed that could remedy the problems owing to incomplete extraction, or modifications of the analytes during the analytical process, and in the validation of the accuracy of the results.
