Underdeployment of stents is a major cause of restenosis. Standard cinegraphic visualisation has its shortcomings. We present a case in which we used a new technique, called StentBoost. This new technique enabled us to diagnose an undeployed stent as cause of a proximal restenosis problem, with direct major therapeutic consequences. (c) 2005 Elsevier Ireland Ltd.
