Tunneling spectroscopy measurements on pure Bi2Sr2Ca1Cu2O8+x Single crystals have been performed by the break-junction technique. The differential conductance curves have been analyzed in the frame of s-, d- or s+d-wave models for the symmetry of the superconducting state. Evidence for predominance of the d-wave component has been found. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science B.V.
