摘要：

For the first time. long period fibre gratings for the coupling of fundamental and cladding modes written on polarisation-maintaining fibre art investigated. It is shown that in this case, loss spectra exhibit polarisation splitting depending on polarisation slates of light. This type of long period grating can be proposed as a wavelength selective polarisation filter.
