摘要
We discuss the propagation of electromagnetic waves in a triply periodic lattice of dielectric spheres. We represent the electric and magnetic fields in terms of Debye potentials, and derive the generalized Rayleigh identity. In the long wavelength limit we evaluate the effective dielectric constant of the homogenized crystal. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
