A linear nonuniform CPW-fed slot array was designed using an iterative procedure. Theoretical and measured highest side-lobe levels of about - 17 dB and - 16 dB, respectively, were achieved. These are substantially lower than that of previously, reported arrays of this sort, validating the accuracy of the approximate method-permitted by the electrically thin substrate-used to calculate mutual coupling.
