摘要
The development of spherical bioactive glass with enhanced rates of hydroxyapatite deposition and hemostatic activity, is discussed. Bioactive glasses are used for bone and dental reconstruction due to their ability to bond to both soft and hard tissues. Cooperative assembly of amphiphilic molecules within aerosols is an effective and flexible method for synthesizing ordered mesoporous silica particles. The Mesoporous Bioactive Glass Microsphere (MBGM) cements are developed for bone and dental repair by mixing MBGM with an ammonium phosphate buffer solution. This unique MBGM cement contain calcium-deficient hydroxyapetite nanocrystals, which has faster deposition rate. The calcium content is a critical material parameter to consider when designing wound-healing agents due to the role of the CaII ions. As the ratio of Si/Ca is increased, the procoagulant activity associated with the bioactive glasses also increases.
