摘要
The nitrogen-enriched carbon aerogels and the capillary condensation of water in these aerogels was discussed. It was found that nitrogen-enriched carbons had a high capacitance per unit surface area. The chemical structure of nitrogen-substituted carbon was studied by X ray photoelectron spectroscopy. It was observed that the water uptake at higher relative pressures in nitrogen-enriched carbon aerogels was attributable to the capillary condensation in mesopores. It was also found that nitrogen atoms substituted on the carbon surface promoted capillary condensation in mesopores by means of improved wettability.
