(Figure Presented) The white stripes in the reflectance image (left; Au = 0, Ag = 1) correspond to Ag in Au/Ag-striped nanowires employed in a suspended format to enable the rapid and sensitive single and multiplex immunoassays for biowarfare agent simulants. Simultaneous analysis of both the reflectance and the fluorescence images (right) of a mixture of nanowires enables easy identification of the antigen present. © 2006 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
