摘要
Temperature changes during tensile test and simple shear test of TiNi shape memory alloys loaded at various strain rates and at different temperatures have been presented. The temperature changes were measured by recording infrared radiation emitted by the surface of the specimen. It was found that the martensite transformation was accompanied by an increase in temperature while the reversible transformation-temperature decrease. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V.
