摘要
This paper deals with the performances of high-speed induction motors for turbo-molecular pump applications. A comparison between squirrel-cage and drag-cup motors is performed by a modeling and experimental analysis. Possible improvements to increase the drag-cup motor efficiency and to reduce rotor losses are investigated acting on the rotor design.
