摘要
This study examines the feasibility of using the emission material of ZnGa2O4 phosphor in field emission display (FED). ZnGa2O4 is a low-voltage cathodoluminescent phosphor having a spinel structure. ZnGa2O4 phosphor obtained from the first fired process has low luminance intensity and low efficiency. Treating the secondary fired process can markedly enhance the crystallization and cathodoluminescent properties of ZnGa2O4 phosphor. Among these improvements include a. decrease in the values of full width st half maximum (FWHM) of X-ray diffraction (XRD), along with an obvious increase in the luminance intensity and efficiency of ZnGa2O4 phosphor. The maximum luminance intensity and efficiency of ZnGa2O4 phosphor obtained by the secondary Bred treatment processes are 2050 cd/m(2) and 0.198 lm/W, respectively. In addition, the CIE chromaticity coordinate of the ZnGa2O4 phosphor is X = 0.1696, Y = 0.1608. Moreover, the emission color is blue.
