摘要
Fundamental modeling and prediction of environmental cracking requires an accurate conceptual understanding of the natural processes that control crack advance in structural alloys in high temperature, high purity water. This paper clarifies a variety of characteristics of PLEDGE methodology in response to the urgent practical need for such a methodology for boiling water reactors specifically, and light water reactors in general.
