摘要：

SLAD is a neutron diffractometer designed for measuring the structure factor of liquids, glasses and amorphous materials, for diffuse scattering measurements from powder crystalline samples and for medium resolution, high count rate, powder diffraction. Basic design considerations will be outlined and discussed in the context of different types of experiment.
