摘要
The influence of UV-laser irradiation on the mechanical resistance of a highly GeO2-doped optical fibre has been investigated under the conditions of Bragg grating fabrication. A Weibull plot evaluation indicates a decrease in the median breaking stress by a factor of 2 and a decrease in the m-value by two orders of magnitude.
