摘要：

The crystal structure of the title compound (C7H8N2O2) has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction at room temperature. The molecule is not planar, with dihedral angles of 18.0(36)degrees between the amino group and the aromatic ring, and 3.3(2)degrees between the nitro group and the ring. The molecular geometry is stabilized by an intramolecular hydrogen bond. The crystal packing involves two intermolecular hydrogen bonds that induce the formation of infinite polar chains.
