摘要
The effect of (dis)charge pulses on lithium-ion batteries is evaluated using an electronic network model. Simulations give insight into the effect of the pulses on the internal processes such as diffusion, migration, electrochemical reactions, heat generation, etc. on time scales from microseconds to hundreds of seconds. The simulated results are verified by experimental measurements on a commercial lithium-ion battery. The relevance of the results for battery charging with short pulses and for the occurrence of short circuit is discussed. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V All rights reserved.
