Texture investigations an geological anorthosite specimens with the triclinic plagioclase-type structure have been performed by neutron diffraction pole figure scanning. Representative pole figures of four specimens originating from different locations of the large massif-type Gruber anorthosite, Antarctica, are presented and discussed. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
