Global and local phase-unwrapping techniques: a comparison

摘要
We investigate the relationship between local and global phase-unwrapping techniques. We demonstrate that both algorithms are based on line integration of an estimate of the phase gradient: the integral along a single path, and the latter averages integrals along many paths. tended to the weighted case. We also give an interpretation of the errors caused by an incorrect phase-gradient estimate in terms of path-following integrals. (C) 1997 Optical Society of America.
