Bandwidth-control-induced insulator-metal transition in Pr-0.65(Ca1-ySry)(0.35)MnO3 and Pr0.7Ca0.3MnO3

摘要
Both internal chemical pressure by ion substitution and external hydrostatic pressure induce an insulator-to-metal (I-M) transition in the Pr1-xCaxMnO3 system. The behavior of spin and charge ordering through the I-M transition has been studied with use of neutron diffraction techniques. As a function of effective pressure, we identify three different pressure regions for the low-temperature state.
