摘要
Surface skinning is a powerful tool that allows the designer to pass a B-spline surface through a set of curves. Although this technique has been in use for about two decades, its many problems raise questions about its usefulness as a design tool. The contribution of this paper is twofold: (1) several skinning problems are studied and analyzed, and (2) a solution is proposed that avoids all the anomalies at the expense of increasing the number of control points and the compute time.
