摘要
Chiral hyperbranched polymers and chiral hyperbranched dendron analogues were synthesized for the first time based on the polymerization of two commercially available enantiomers of glycidol. Precisely one functional group was successfully incorporated at the core using an initiator bearing a terminal double bond. Molecular weights of the dendron analogues range between 1300 and 4800, being well-controlled by the monomer/initiator ratio. This range represent a degree of polymerization of 20-60 glycidol units per polymer. The degree of branching ranges from 0.53-0.57.
