摘要
High-temperature solid-oxide fuel cells (SOFC) using yttria-stabilized zirconia as electrolytic material provide highly-efficient, pollution-free power generation. Their performance has been confirmed by successful operation in several atmospheric-pressure power-generation systems of up to 100 kW. Electrical-generation efficiencies of over 70% are possible in integrated pressurized SOFC/gas-turbine power systems. Atmospheric and pressurized SOFC-based power systems are ideal distributed power-generation systems: reliable, clean, quiet, environment-friendly and fuel efficient.
