摘要：

Frequency properties of electromagnetic waves scattered by 1D random photonic lossless structures, periodic on average, are studied by means of the transfer-matrix method. It is shown that a high degree of disorder in the distribution of dielectric scatterers produces a very narrow window for the frequency of the transmitted light. Several general frequency-dependent characteristics of the scattering process have been investigated for an arbitrary degree of disorder.
