摘要
The first intrinsic property related to the stability against oxidation of Co nanocrystals once they are self ordered in compact hexagonal networks was analyzed. The high crystallinity of particles were checked through the high resolution TEM (HRTEM) and electron diffraction (ED) pattern were obtained from both ordered and disordered areas. It was found that the core shell structures with a high crystallized hcp core can lead to a significant change in the exchange compared to the fcc systems. The results revealed resistance to oxidation of highly crystallized hcp Co nanocrystals close packed in 2D compared to the same nanocrystals either disordered or isolated on the substrate. The results also revealed that the intriguing behavior of Co nanocrystals was related to the permeability of the coating chains to O2 constitutes the first intrinsic property due to their 2D organization.
