摘要
The new lamellar hydroxide teraphthalate Zn-3(OH)(4)(C8H4O4) was synthesised by the hydrothermal method and was characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, IR and UV spectroscopy and thermogravimetric analysis. The compound crystallises in the monoclinic space group C2/c with: a = 28.1000(5) angstrom, b = 6.3101 (1) angstrom, c = 14.359(3) angstrom, P = 121.564(1)degrees, V = 2241.43 angstrom(3), Dx = 2.538 g/cm(3) and Z = 4. The zinc(II) atoms present four, five and six fold O-coordination. Due to the peculiar coordination of the zinc atoms, the inorganic layers form stairways running along [001]. These stairways-like layers are bridged by tereplithalate (tp) groups leading to a 3D framework. (c) 2006 Elsevier SAS. All rights reserved.
