摘要
Two very strong storms made some important damages in France, in December 1999. The meteorological stations compared the mean wind speeds and maximum gust speeds recorded by the French meteorological office to previous observations. A new map of 50 years return period mean wind speed is proposed. (C) 2002 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
