摘要
Spin-carrier interactions in a ferromagnetic (In,Mn)As film were investigated by measuring magnetic circular dichroism (MCD) spectra. The s,p-d exchange interactions induce a strong MCD signal at photon energies corresponding to critical points of a host InAs, indicating that (In,Mn)As has the same electronic band structure as InAs. The magnetic field dependence of the MCD intensity clearly shows that the ferromagnetism of the sample comes from (In,Mn)As, not from second-phase materials. (C) 2003 Elsevier B.V.
