摘要
The crystal structures of 1:2 uranyl complexes of a di- and a triphenol obtained in the presence of DABCO are described. The uranyl ions are in slightly distorted square-planar environments, being bound to two phenoxide oxygen atoms from each ligand. The triphenol complex differs from a previously reported one by the arrangement of the ligands one with respect to the other. The HDABCO counterions are held by N-(HO)-O-...(oxo) hydrogen bonds and cation-pi interactions. The crystal structures of the uncomplexed di- and triphenol molecules, Lis well Lis that of another related diphenol, are also reported, in which the arrangement of the molecules, in dimers, chains or planes, is primarily dictated by hydrogen bonding.
