Shape memory effect of grain refined Ni54Mn25Ga21 alloy with high transformation temperature

摘要
It is shown that the mechanical and shape memory characteristics of the polycrystalline Ni54Mn25Ga21 high temperature shape memory alloys can be improved by grain refinement. The maximum shape memory strain is 4.2%, and the compressive plasticity is higher than 10%. (C) 2004 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
