Increased lovastatin formation by Aspergillus terreus using repeated fed-batch process

摘要
Lovastatin biosynthesis with Aspergillus terreus in batch fermentation reached 160 U/l in 161 h at pH 6.8 and a dissolved O-2 tension maintained at 70%. At the end of repeated fed batch fermentations, the yield of lovastatin was increased by 37% though this took over twice as long as in the batch fermentation.
